A Wedding at a Country House in the Berkshires

As I'm sure you know by now, one of the most important attributes of my business is that no two weddings look the same. My philosophy is that no two couples are the same and their weddings should be reflections of this.

So when a super sweet couple reaches out to you and says they want to host their wedding at their beautiful country home, it's super exciting! Creating a venue from scratch is probably one of my favorite things to do. Not only will it be unique by nature, but we are also helping someone create their dream wedding when they could easily get overwhelmed by all of the steps that it takes to put it together. Design + helping people = PURE JOY!

When I met with Jen and Katie, the recurring "theme" of their "dream wedding" was that their guests felt welcome and taken care of throughout the entire weekend. They wanted to create an intimate setting where they could spend the most important day of their lives with the most special people in their lives. And despite the chilly temps and light drizzle of the late September day, the warmth of this group was what stood out the most.

I shouldn't have been surprised, really. Throughout our planning process, I SO enjoyed getting to know these amazing women. You will often hear me say how much I love getting to know my couples, and I truly have a soft spot for each one of them! But Jen and Katie have become like family to me, my husband and daughters. We look forward to each time they're going to be in the Berkshires...and I'm so glad that they reached out to me to help them plan their wedding weekend!
